Milko Marchetti was born in Ferrara on June 10, 1968.
In over 30 years of activity it has built up an archive of over 1,000,000 images and 20,000 video clips. It collaborates with the ER Region, the Po Delta Park, Delta2000.
He has publications of photos such as covers and interiors in various periodicals.
It's for the Twelfth consecutive time, winner of the World Cup of Nature Photography, in 1999, 2001, 2003, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2020 In December 2004 his first photographic book “LE STAGIONI DEL DELTA” was published by Minerva Edizioni, awarded, in March 2005 at Orvieto-photography, as best Naturalistic Reportage book.

Since 2000 he has been organizing Naturalistic Photography Workshops in Italy and around the world.
I was born in Ravenna in 1959 and have been interested in nature photography since 1978, the year I bought my first camera.
Over the course of my career I have established collaborations with the main newspapers and publishers in the naturalistic sector, including the following magazines: Oasis, Geo, Focus, Tutti Fotografi, Natura and some magazines of the Mondadori group.
Over the years my images have obtained numerous awards in photographic competitions including the victory of the FIAP Fotonatura Team World Cup in the 2006, 2012, 2016, 2018, 2020 editions and the Fiap gold medal for the 2014.
Since 2005 I have been collaborating in the organization of the International Birdwatching Fair in Comacchio holding exhibitions, screenings, nature photography workshops and field trips.
Since 2012 I have been in the organizing committee of Nature inPhoto, the Naturalistic Photography event held in Marano Lagunare (UD).
In 2013 I was granted by the FIAF the honor AFI (Italian Artist Photographer) for the merits acquired.
My images are made in nature and try to capture the most salient moments in the life of animals.
To get the best results I combine the knowledge of animal ethology with the photographic technique and the use of special equipment, always keeping in mind the main rule; “Stealing only the images from Nature”
Biologist and ornithologist, he contributed to the launch of the protected areas system and to the establishment of the Natura 2000 network of the Emilia-Romagna Region. He was head of the Parks office of the Province of Ravenna, then director of the Vena del Gesso Park and since 2021 director of the Po Delta Park. He is a member of the IUCN protected areas committee and has over 100 publications to his credit.
